After getting a perm, setting hair has become more difficult, making mornings a mess….
For those who have difficulty setting their hair, we will teach you a simple technique that allows you to set your hair beautifully without spending a lot of time.
You can set your perm the way you want it! Three great techniques that are easy to do, even if you don’t have a lot of time!
As we mentioned, there are some tricks to perms that are not easy to set well. So, here are three major techniques we recommend.
- Easy as wrapping! Hot towel wrapping to set perms
Preparing for going out, which is done after getting up in the morning, can solve the problem of taking too much time to set perms by changing the order. Make a hot towel while you wash your face and finish other preparations while wrapping it. If you set the perm afterwards, the steam will soften your hair, making it easier to handle. - Change the timing of applying styling products to set perms with too much volume.
If you set your hair after it has just been permed, it will be very voluminous, so it will not set well. So, let’s focus on styling products after washing your hair. If you want wet volume, apply styling products while your hair is still wet. And if you want just a little volume, you can freely adjust the styling product by applying it while your hair is still a little dry from natural drying. - Use a hair dryer to make it fluffy.
Use a hair dryer when you want to set perms in a loose, fluffy way. If you curl your hair with your fingers after shampooing, the curls will fall out, so apply the air from the hair dryer to the root of the hair, making it stand up. The ends of the hair should not be shaken too much so that it does not become frizzy. It is also recommended to apply styling products to the ends of the hair only when they are wet, so they will stay in place.
